The exhibition “Questi scritti, quando verranno bruciati, daranno finalmente un po’ di luce.” is a site- specific installation of monumental paintings arranged in the magnificent setting of Sala degli Scrutini of Palazzo Ducale in Venice.
The lighting system has been studied in order to provide the most immersive experience for visitors, as it merges evenly with the space, providing the adequate lighting while the light sources are almost invisible.
Because of the nature of the installation and the historical setting, the challenges of this projects were multiple: the size of the paintings and their different textures, the mounting restrictions and the artist’s requests.
